India is a fast growing country. We are moving from an era of steam engine to bullet train. In an phrase we in the desired place we want. We are reaching other planets in the solar system. Many young people in the country are enjoying that luxuries in the life which were once the talk of the tales.
All the development has been possible due to the vast thinking and creativity of the human mind.
Now in the world almost everything runs with the electricity. The major source of power is electricity. Now in the vast and speedily growing world we had a backup for everything. But without electricity no backup works.
In a country like India, the main and important problem we are facing is power cut of blackout. And it is obvious to face such problem because the amount of energy consumption hardly being able to meet the produce.
As now the appliances and gadgets we use in our daily lives run on electricity or electrically charged batteries. Today even the man power is being replaced by machines or electrical appliances. Even that the l.p.g gas stoves are being replaced by induction cookers.
Our lives have totally been on electrical power sector. We are being a bit unfair to the power sector. We are expecting so much that its not being able to produce the desired amount.
An report by a commission states that “India was the third largest producer of electricity in the globe by 2013. With the capacity of producing 249.488 GW.”
Still Indians are habituated to more frequent power cuts. Over 300 million Indians have no access to frequent electricity. And over one third of the rural population lacked electricity as well as 6% of urban population lacked so. The people of India suffers from a major shortage of electricity generation.
Indian electricity sector is amongst the world most active player in a renewable energy utilization, especially wind energy.
One of most reasonable cause of the problem is the theft of power. Both the government and we the people are responsible for the shortage.
As a responsible citizen we should keep a check no power is wasted through us. We must only use the amount of energy that we require we should not waste it. And the main point is to keep the electrical appliances switched off while going out or when not in use.
